I have it installed under Linux, but not under Mac OS. I can make general
accessibility-related observations, but not VoiceOver-specific ones without

don't have the resources to extend it further. I would expect that Firefox
would be a higher priority than Thunderbird accessibility, but I have no direct
information and have never tried using Thunderbird

Thunderbird, like Firefox on the Mac, is not accessible via Voiceover.
It is based on some common code which originally only worked with
IAccessible and MSAA only. Hopefully the work to get Firefox working
with VO will trickle down to Thunderbird as well someday.
