Meego and mafw

Hello, Is there any information available about the multimedia framework that will be used by Meego? Any future for mafw? I'd like to work on the project Porting Canola to N900 as a Gsoc student and I've been discussing with canola developers the possibility to use mafw. Thanks, -- Andrei
