   Hi Manfred,

it seems like you accidently 8-) solved something discussed in

Which release are you running? 3.2005.51-13 ?
Maybe you somehow set a RTC-alarm in the device? Via /proc?
Have you been testing alarms in any PIM application? GPE? DejaPIM?

 Sorry, I don't have a clue.

   regards, Armin.

I don't either (have a clue)... but before my first flashing my 770
used to boot exactly 12:41 every day.

Now it doesn't. I have that -51-ending version.

BTW: I'm keeping my 770 running all the time so the
autostart-feature I used to have would not have mattered much lately...

The device was switched off several hours ago and was definitely
turned off. Startup was on each of the last three days at the same
time. I'd appreciate any explanation for that behavior.

That's kinda strange because, even if there was an alarm expiring, it
should be ACK'ed to allow another one to expire :-/

Digging into /var/log/wtmp (which got a size of 20 MB in 22 days) with
'last' shows a daily boot at 20:07 - only of course, when shut off.
