I just downloaded flasher-2.0 then attempted to update to the beta
release of OS 2006, using:
$ sudo flasher -r BETA.SU-18_2006SE_0.2006.22-21_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R

I have the same problems. With sudo ./flasher-2.0
--set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset the 770 starts and i can use the Desktop
Envirement. Now i have a new problem. I bought an new 1 GB Kingston RS-MMC
because the original was to small. Even i insert one of this two cards i
got the message :memory
