I had to add a Mandriva or Mageia (I don't remember) on a PC with Ubuntu.
It was not easy to make them work with a double boot.
Uniformity of the boot loader is necessary.
It will be easier to help people migrating from Ubuntu to Mageia.

I have found some drawbacks in menus.
1- In games, klickety is in strategy but in rpmdrake, it is in plateau with
kmines.
2- I have installed gEDA. It does not appears in menus.
In Mageia 1, it appears in Sciences.
Have you found other things like this?

conflicting). Dragon is not better out the box. Only VLC works with all my
samples.
To make the best distro, working in any case, VLC succeeds, Totem sucks...

which is too wide. As the country has already been selected, it should be easy

A user does not want a player X or Y, we need only a player which works in
any case without any trouble.
The file association can call a different player if is it needed for a special
file type.
For example, VLC is better than dragon to play an iso image of a DVD.
