what happened to the lavabit.com. More than 30 million people were using
Truecrypt since its inception.

I'm sure many companies have been inspired by ideas Ubuntu presented first,
at least by a bit. I, for one, am proud of *Ubuntu* for contributing to the
world with those ideas.
That said, it's always good to see someone competent implement some of
those ideas.
Lets not forget the fact that Ubuntu is a distribution based on the
GNU/Linux distribution and Debian and its the real force behind the screens.
