hi,
This seems to be a much discussed topic by looking at the archives, but I seem
to have some problem that I couldnt find reference too in the archive.
I have configured mailman to use the external archiver thing like this:
PUBLIC_EXTERNAL_ARCHIVER = '(/opt/MHonArc/bin/mhonarc -rcfile
There is a subscription message (Double-click ...) that appears on
all messages to/from the list (mailman 2.0 and 2.5) .
I can't find it with grep.
Can anyone please tell me where this is generated and/or how to remove
it?
A message sent to the list looks like this:
It is most probably your mailer (Netscape) that reads the List-* headers

line.

Hi,
I want to change my MTA..
At this moment, I use sendmail with Dial-Up. When a list-member wants to post
to a list, he sends the mail to an POP-Account, my server dials up, fetches
the posting (with fetchmail) and transfers it to mailman:
fetchmail:

Where in the code can I remove the superfluous X- headers?
Are there plans to make some of this configurable, on a list-by-list basis?

Mailman doesn't add any X-headers. It adds a number of standard
headers per RFC 2369 however, which may be what you are referring
to. There are patches
I am unable to find reference to this in the in the Mailman FAQ -- is there
another location?
Also, the archives don't appear to be searchable... do you have an idea of
a date range I can look through for these patches.

My mailing list has stopped sending emails. However, if I subscribe someone
through the admin interface they receive a confirmation email. Can anyone
help?
