It convert $agfTextPoint to MgGeometry:
$agfTextPoint = POINT XY (0 0);
$pointGeometryFromWkt = $wktReaderWriter-Read($agfTextPoint);
And then convert it into MgByteReader :

500 error - internal error
It could be several things. Did you load the Postgres FDO when you installed
the server? What code are you using and how do you have the connection
specified? Post the code you are using. We can't help if you don't give us
enough to go on...
