Hello users,
I have a question regarding the RequestMapImage() function.
In MG 2.1, you can change the image format from png to jpg (see below)
with a better result in performance.
function RequestMapImage(reqId, viewParams)

Thanks for your time, Zac.
No performance statistic.
We loaded the same data in Vers. 2.1 and 2.2.
There is a big difference between these both versions.
Vers. 2.1 is much faster in displaying the ecws (approx. 7 GB).

Thanks all of you,
I have another question.
I was trying to change the rendering image format to JPG with no result.
It only works with PNG8.
In 2.1, it worked with JPG instead of default PNG.
Is there a change between 2.1 and 2.2 ?

Hello Users,
I tried to connect via Maestro to the PostGIS provider (FDO 3.4).
I use MapGuide 2.1 and a PostgreSQL database.
I got a error message unable to load the fdo provider etc.
The depency walker shows me after loading the postgisprovider.dll some
missing files:
- msvcr70.dll

thx ar_gaeta,
when I switch from Maestro 2.1 to 2.0 , I can connect to the
PostGISProvider.
This is weird, why?
But when I try to connect to the PostgreSQL database I got the error message
unable to load fdo provider.
We are using PostgreSQL 9.0. Should we downgrade or is it another problem?
Hello Mapguide Users,
I was trying to connect to an MySQL database.
I got successfull connections to shp files.
Now I am trying to connect to an imagery (ecw) table within the database.
The ecw files are stored as a blob data type.
By the way, I am able to connect to locally stored ecw files
Thank you, Jackie.
