It turned out that files I was using to display data (I use .SDF files) did
not have a required class that I had set up in my Layers
definition/template. I was able to use the FDO Toolbox & Maestro to resolve
this.

In case this if of benefit to anyone else, I was able to fix this by changing
the RW privileges of the MG server. I am not sure why/how they got changed
in the first place but running a chmod from the install root provided the
necessary fix.

If this is helpful for anyone. I was able to resolve this by restoring the
Repositories directory since I guess it got corrupted on my development
system. It does give me some concern as I do have some systems deployed and
I am not sure what caused it to get corrupted in the first place.

Of late I have noticed this problem that whenever i click on a feature, the

What version of MGOS are you running? I too face memory leaks with apps i
developed on version 2.2 and I was informed on this forum that many of the
problems have been fixed in the MGOS newer version : 2.5+

I am still using 2.2 but in the process of migrating to 2.5 (as advised due
to the issues of memory leaks with the Java API in 2.2). I had to create a
custom build of 2.5 since there was no release build for our target OS RHEL
5. I am currently in the process of getting the improved fusion client

Thanks, I rebuilt FDO from scratch and was able to build the rest and so
finally have MGOS 2.5 running on RHEL 5 ... after 1 weekyay!!
(Now trying to figure how to copy my map definition etc over).

I would like to upgrade to the current release (2.5) of MapGuide Open Source
from my currently installed 2.2 running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL
5).
What would be the easiest way to do this? Can i do the following:
1) stop mgserverd, mghttpd and tomcat processes.
2) run the necessary
