You have to edit the XML of your Application Definition.
For each Widget element, translate the text between the Label child
element. Do the same for any StatusItem and Tooltip child elements.

After another look at the formatting of the output I added
doc.PreserveWhitespace = true; after XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();
and it seems to have fixed the problem ...
