[mapguide-users] Fixed scales with Base Layers?

2012-02-03 Thread torrini
Hi list,

is that right that a map containing base layers has fixed scales? For
example: the following scales were tiled: 1'000, 2'000, 5'000 and 10'000.
The map then has only a zoom range from 1'000 to 10'000. Is there a way to
control the layer settings? It would be nice if the map can scale to 200 and
use from scale 1'000 on the direct DataConnection instead of the tiled
layers. Is that possible? What about Autodesk's AIMS?

Kind regards,
torrini

[mapguide-users] Quickplot inner preview to new windo

2012-06-19 Thread torrini
Hi list,

by now I'm trying and testing MapGuide 2.4 with Maestro 5.0. Everything
works fine. Expecially the quickplot I like most.
And here my question: Is it possible to redirect the inner preview to a new
window? I already had a look at the php-code and found
onLoad=innerLoaded() in quickplotpreviewinner.templ. Can anybody give me
some hints what I can do?

Thanks,

Re: [mapguide-users] Fusion +Flexible Layouts

Hi list,

I've got the same problem with MapGuide OS 2.4.
The Sheboygan-Sample and other WGS84-maps work fine, but when I want to have

The layout is loading, but the map never appears.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a step I missed?

Re: [mapguide-users] Fusion +Flexible Layouts

2012-11-06 Thread torrini
Hi Jamo,

I just got through my definitions and took a step-by-step build of a layout.
I found out that not the coordinate system (in my case it is the swiss
CH1903 (EBSG:21781)) causes the problem but the layer-definition. A layer
with a composite style won't work in a fusion layout. If there is at least
one such layer the whole map won't be displayed.
In my case I need to have a composite stylization for labels, because
sometimes they have to be justified to the right. That's not possible in a
normal point stylization ( http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/ticket/772
http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/ticket/772  ).

Is my assumption correct? Does a composite stylization be in a special
manner to be displayed in fusion layout?

You'll find my definitions in the mgp-package.
Thanks you in anticipation.

[mapguide-users] MG 2.4: QuickPlot, Size of MapCapturer (printSize, pageSize)

[mapguide-users] Fusion: Zoom to selected features with multi selection

2013-10-28 Thread torrini
Hi list,

in Fusion there is the widget ZomToSelection. It centers and fits the map
to the selection, no matter if there is one or more selection(s). In the
Selection-Tab of the TaskPane I can switch between all the selected
features. That's nice. But when you selected a lot of features you can't see
which feature it is in the list.

In the Ajax-Layout there the ZoomToSelection-tool is next to the list and I
can jump directly to the listed feature.

I want to start my layout with a specific view, which should be setted by
parameters like
/http://localhost/mapguide25/fusion/templates/mapguide/maroon/index.html?x=...y=...scale=.../

I know there are the functions ZoomToView(x,y,scale,refresh); and
SetExtents(maxx,maxy,minx,miny);.
But how can I implement them in the index.html-file?

Hope somebody can give me a hint.

[mapguide-users] stylizing adjoined surfaces

2014-03-14 Thread torrini
Hi list,

I got a dashed style for normal surfaces. The problem is, that the dashes
overlap each other at the adjoined lines. I know there is the parameter
VertexControl within the CompositeRules. It can have the values
'OverlapNone', 'OverlapDirect', 'OverlapWrap' and 'OverlapNoWrap', but none
of them give me the expected result.

I am using MG OS 2.5.2 and Maestro 5.1.0.

Here a snippet of the layer-definition:

Here I got some screenshots with the different vertexcontrol-values:
screenshots_overlap.zip
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/file/n5129043/screenshots_overlap.zip

and what I want it to look like
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/file/n5129043/expected.png

Can anybody give me a hint how I can stylize this?

Thanks,

I copied your proposal, but this is what I get:

Now the parcels are no longer surfaces. You can select each line-part. It's
definitely not what I want.
Is there another possibility?

[mapguide-users] MapAgent SetResource in a batch

Hi,

I got a lot of layer definitions which have to be updated. The new layer
definitions are ready in xml files.
I know I can do the updates layer per layer via Web Tier Tests

that it might occur more often, I would like to have it done automatically.
Is there a way to do it in a batch command or something like this?

[mapguide-users] map shifted with google maps

2015-05-05 Thread torrini
Hi list,

I got a fusion layout with commercial layers (google, bing). My data is in
EPSG:3857 coordinate system.
When turning on the google satellite images, the layers are shifted and even
scaled.
The mouse coordinates (projected in local coordinate system) neither fit in
my data nor in google maps.
With bing maps the layer fit, but the coordinates are shifted.
The same happens when my data is in EPSG:900913.

I want my data to fit in all commercial layers with the correct coordinates.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

yes, the Beta 2 version helped. Now my data fits into the commercial layers.
But the coordinates won't fit. No matter which projection I choose for data

[mapguide-users] different measuring results (fusion vs. pdf)

2015-07-20 Thread torrini
Hi list,

I already observe this issue for a longer time.
With the release of 3.0 I testet it again and still have the differences.

When measuring the edges of a house within the sample project Sheboygan I
get different results.
First one - measuring in layout (Aqua, fusion):
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/file/n5216210/map.png
Second one - measuring in pdf with a scale of 1:100 (Quickplot):
http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/file/n5216210/pdf.png

The coordinate system is WGS84 (EPSG:4326).
Is there a possibility to manipulate the widget? Or is it a coordinate
system issue?

In a next step it would be great to identify the "master-folder" with

is there or will there be a widget to add any WMS the consumer wants?! There

Is there already existing such a widget (preferably fusion)? Or is it

*and now:*
a link back from the external WebSite to the WebGIS at the desired position.
That means: How is it possbile to (re-)open the WebGIS without knowing the

- MapGuide\Web\www\fusion\lib\fusionSF.js and fusionSF-compressed.js (built
from en.json)

I translated all of them into german (having corresponding de-files) and
built the fusionSF.js and fusionSF-compressed.js with ant, but some labels
remain english or show their attribute-value e.g. QUICKPLOT_HEADER when
adding the parameter "locale=de" to the URL.

Have I missed something?

-Maria

Re: [mapguide-users] Windows Server 2016 compatibility

2017-09-12 Thread torrini
I didn't get to start the installer-exe.
I'm receiving the message that the app can't run on my PC.

I already checked Java.
The installer and the system are both 64bit.

What else might be the problem?

Re: [mapguide-users] mapguide-react-layout 0.10 released

2017-10-19 Thread torrini
Hi Jackie,

How can I modify the code to
- open the layout without any windows open (SelectionPanel, Layers/Legend,
TaskPane)
- let the SelectionPanel pop up as soon as someone clicks on an object
- let the TaskPane pop up as soon as someone clicks on the QuickPlot-widget
(e.g.)
?

Cheers,
-Maria

Re: [mapguide-users] Moving to MGOS from AIMS

@morkl
Right on cue!
I was just dealing with ECW in 3.1 and already thought about switching to
TIF or something else.
Now, as I am new to the development thing, how can I use your patch?! Is it
suitable for Windows?

Re: [mapguide-users] Redline + Language

2018-01-09 Thread torrini
My edits:

*markupmain.php*
[...]
function SubmitCommand(cmd)
{
var commandInput = document.getElementById("commandInput");
commandInput.value = cmd;

if (cmd == CMD_EDIT) {
*markupForm.action = "editmarkup.php?LOCALE="+"";*
} else if (cmd == CMD_UPLOAD) {
markupForm.action = "uploadmarkup.php";
} else if (cmd == CMD_EDITSTYLE) {
markupForm.action = "editmarkupstyle.php";
}
else {
markupForm.action = "markupmain.php";
}
markupForm.submit();
}
[...]

*editmarkup.php*
[...]
function CloseEditor()
{
ClearDigitization(true);
var map = Fusion.getMapByName(mapName).mapWidget;
map.message.clear();

var editForm = document.getElementById("editForm");
*editForm.action = "markupmain.php?"+"";*

editForm.submit();
}
[...]

" method="post"
enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" id="editForm" target="_self">

[...]

Still the widget switches back to english :-/
The function CloseEditor() won't be used till the user closes the dialog.
But the language already changes when one line is made. So the functions
AddLine() and SubmitCommand(cmd) are used. That's why I edited the form in
the html-part (action="editmarkup.php?locale=").

[mapguide-users] Redline + Language

2018-01-08 Thread torrini
I upgraded our MapGuide to version 3.1
Now I'm adapting the Redline widget which we use for dimensioning. I already
could edit the concerning files to label the lines with their lengths.
Unfortunatly I now have to struggle with the language: our used language is
german. The de- and de.json-file exist. When starting the widget everything
works well. In markupmain.php I edited the line
/markupForm.action = "editmarkup.php";/
to
/markupForm.action = "editmarkup.php?LOCALE="+"";/
So that the edit-page will appear in german as well. When digitizing and
finishing a line the edit-page reloads in english.

*How can I prevent that behavior?*

[mapguide-users] JPG and transparency

2018-03-05 Thread torrini
I have some aerial images in JPG with some white areas (nodata). I already
tried to set the transparency color to white (ff), but with no effect.
Did I miss something or have to be aware of something particular? I know JPG
doesn't support transparency, but MapGuide as a map server provides the
option to set a color to transparent. So does AutoCAD Map3D, where it works.

Windows 2008 R2, 64bit
MapGuide 3.1
Maestro 6.0m5

Cheers,
torrini
