It is one thing to quote the New York Times, it is quite another to quote Das Bild or FoxNews. Das Bild is one of the most reactionary, right wing, pro-imperialist rags on the planet. This has been the case since its inceptions by the Springer family after the war. Does this mean that Assad is a good guy and his military commits none of the crimes it is accused of? No, of course not. Does this mean quoting essentially fascist news organs on a Marxist list will gain your "cause" sympathy?
