You probably aren't using the PATCHED IPFWADM program.  Get it
here:

        http://www.tor.shaw.wave.ca/~ambrose/ipfwadm.gz

                or get just the patch at:

        http://www.tor.shaw.wave.ca/~ambrose/ipfwadm-2.3.0-generic-timeout.patch.gz


If, for some reason, you cannot download these files (I never could), 
just ask and I'll MIME email, FTP, etc it to you.
