I'll be putting my 1986 300SDL on eBay soon and thought I would give the list
first crack at it. It's a Black
Removed the monovalve insert tonight, it was clogged with the red-sandlike
radiator/block/head sealer stuff from the PPO. So, I installed one I replaced
in my SD (before I discovered that the coil was bad) and suddenly I have heat
in the car. So, I took it on a drive tonight, about 5 miles on
30-0-30 ammeter.

I'll look at this tomorrow. I do know there is a small amount of oil in the
vacuum system. So I have that and the slightly major oil leak on the front of
the engine. Hopefully that will seal it up. P.S. this is an '82 as my

Blowby has gotten worse. Compression is horrible, only 1 cylinder has gotten
better, the rest are lower. 1-320, 2-240, 3-325, 4-310, 5-315. Compression

Remember this one? 1qt oil burned every 250-300 miles. Compression is all
320-380, injectors are clean and good spray. Runs like a scared cat (right
