Jim has a fleet, and may in time decide to just open a used car lot, so that he can play with all the sorts of car he would like to get his hands on. At least that way, he can have a little cash and car flow On Thursday, March 23, 2006, at 07:51 AM, Jim Cathey wrote: SWMBA?? Or do you mean

I would love to have the SDL. The amount of leg space out back is significant, even though I think it is only 2 more than the SD. Ended up with the POS SDL for the legroom. The extra 5.5 of wheelbase is all in the rear footwell, and is a pretty serious addition to legroom back there. About

SWMBA?? Or do you mean SWMBO? No, She Who Must Be Annoyed. It seems to be a compulsion with her, at least as regards myself! I haven't noticed much of a correlation with the A factor as regards my car habits, in spite of some of the associated verbiage. -- Jim

I decided to hold out for the SDL. I wanted a 'boat'. How much longer is the 300SDL than the SD? I've heard that there's a bunch more leg room in the SDL's rear seat area. However, the 603 aluminum heads scare me! Kevin in Hillsboro Oregon 1973 220D

Same here - 292kmi on a #14 head. IIRC, Marshall was saying around 20% of the 603 heads were cracking, and I'm guessing that most of them have already done it if they're going to. The 603 engine in the 126 chassis is awesome!!! That 6 inches sure seems like more. Rear seat passengers really

I think the cracking has something to do with whether or not the engine had a Trap Oxidizer and how many times the engine overheated. On 3/18/06, OK Don [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Same here - 292kmi on a #14 head. IIRC, Marshall was saying around 20% of the 603 heads were cracking, and I'm

Hi, Jim. I did try pushing each button down every few seconds with no action from the ACC. The central locking must be inoperative, probably due to the moisture in the trunk. This car was boxed in by three other cars on the lot (not the position where a hot selling diesel Benz should be
