Evap drains can be cleared by running a wire up from underneath the car. Bacteria grow on A/c evaporators that are in regular use. THe bacteria catch dirt and tit is the bacterial slime/dirt that plugs up the drains. Get a bad strain of bacteria, and you have Legionaires disease. Same

Listers, I pulled my 85 300D out of the garage today after washing it yesterday for the first time in quite a while and much to my chagrin I found the front carpet wet on the passenger side. It did not appear to be coolant as it had no obvious odor and the temperatures have been in the low

What are the usual sources on a W-123 Sedan for water to enter the passenger side front compartment? Any thoughts where to look first, second, third. Firewall behind the battery compartment (you checked there). Windshield seal, rear window seal. Sunroof drains. Hood hinge wells.
