has the MC 2.5 version there as well if needed. All links
to this site would be welcome.
It is also still on the Metacard site you just have to ftp to get there:
try ftp://metacard.com/MetaCard/

I'm approaching 60, Shari. When I was in school, IBM didn't exist.
You must be older than you think!
IBM has been around since about 1890. Though it was incorporated as

Hello,
Where does one go to get older (as in 2.31 etc) versions of Metacard?
Yes the later versions are better but they don't work with the old
external collection so back to 2.31 it is if only I could find a PC
version of 2.31...
Thanks.
Michael
Does anyone have any other suggestions about how I could get this to work?
You may be able to create an ordinary library stack with the image-creation
objects and routines... then within your script:
start using stack imageLib
makeImages()
In limited tests, I've found this to be the way to
Hello everyone.
I have successfully configured my OS x server to run metatalk scripts
as faceless cgi's. Thanks to everyone who has posted to the list
about doing this, especially Richard MacLemale.
Now I want to make cgi that can output images using data I have

Could someone help me with sound related properties (MacOS 9.1):
I want to record some voice to a file and then play it.
This is what I have so far:

stop recording
start player 1

I have a little project in which I want to convert an array of numbers from
a text file into an image file. This will be done by making the highest
number white and the lowest number in the array black. The number in
between will be assigned a grey value depending on the amount.

Hello everyone,
I am developing an application in trusty 'ol Metcard that does the
following things.
1) Downloads an index from a web server, this is just a plain text file
and is basically a file listing with some other bits of information about
the images
2) Uses that index to downlaod a

Hello
Just want to say thank you to, Philip Chumbley, Signe Marie Sanne, Scott
Rossi, Hugh Senior for the propmt replys to my question:
Do Metacard 2.32 .exe run under Windows2000? The answer of course is a
resounding yes!
Thanks again.

particular project has already taken longer than it should (and as per
usual the person I am making it for wants 100 copies of the CD by last week

Thanks in advance.

PS Does anyone else miss the ability to search the mailing list archive
like we used to do with the old one
it moves the editing group out from the side of the card on
mouseenter and hides it again on mouseleave. It works fine under 2.31.
However under 2.32 none of the buttons within the group work. They won't
activate if I click on them. Can anyone shed some light on this behaviour?
