Just to repeat here what I have already stated several times: I use the
MC-IDE for about 95% of my programming. The reasons for that are many.
One feature I like and use very much is the Control Browser, which
guarantees quick access to all the objects on a card.
My sincere thanks first to

Hi Klaus,
Be assured that your work is appreciated. I highly prefer MC IDE, and can continue using it thanks to your efforts.

Hi Mark,
Hi,
You might get more feedback, if you put the downloads on a server,
accessible without having to log in on Yahoo.
Yes, maybe, but I was talking about feedback from the long time MC
users who
do have this Yahoo account and access to the files, I know there are
many of them!
You can all help me a bit by simply encouraging me!
After the release of the last IDE 3.5, the one with the complex
datagrid support,
I only got 1 (ONE/EINE/UNO/UN/EEN/UM) response/thank you/whatever, which
is a tad disappointing and not really meant to encourage a volunteer! YO :-)

I still use Metacard quite a few hours daily. I've recently tried
once again switching to Rev but it's a time consuming thing to do and
there are parts of the MC IDE which I too appreciate such as the
Control Browser.

I, too, prefer the MC IDE, as do the students in the lab, despite my
best efforts to get them to start with the Rev IDE (assuming that they
will prefer what they first learn, and that my preference is the bias
of my original MC learning). Nope, within a few months, I find them

Hi,

that links to all necessary files are available on one and the same
website, it will be much easier for people to install Metacard and

You are not alone in your preference, Shari. I'm sure that the Rev IDE is
very clever (and I still use it to build standalones); I just like the an
IDE that doesn't mess with the engine, customPropertySets and my head.
