The scrollWheel works fine in all other apps under 9.2

You're right... OS 9 won't do it, but OS X will (as well
I love QuickTime, you love Quicktime--great. But there are a lot of Windows boxes out
there without QuickTime.

My understanding is you don't need MCISendString. MC/Rev will play movies
using whatever default multimedia features are available on the host system.
This is what we used in
