Hi Mark,
It happens to be my favourite iron meteorite as well and also has a coincidental
special significance for me as it happens to be my birthday as well (but
not the same year, unfortunately)! BTW, Thanks for all the great information
on your website.

Hi Matteo and list,
He or her uses the same CAI-picture for all three Allendes,
the pictures are dark, but it's visible that the stones are angular
fragments with rounded edges from weathering, they have no fusion crust and
are looking like W3+ desert stones with no similarities to Allende.
I already reported this seller to ebay and I suggest you do the same.

Dear Charles, Rosemary and List,
Dr. Andrei Ol'khovatov from Moscow, Russia weighed in on the Elma incident
and came to the same conclusion, a geometeorite was to blame. It is amazing
how similar the two events are. The kid with the burnt fingers in Elma and
a kid with a burnt face in Iran.
The problem with Elma, is simple.
It was seen and reported by some kids that a fireball went over, and
somehow, they amazingly knew that it landed at their high school, then they
found some tiny little pits in the running track. They did not witness any
impact, but somehow knew where it was.
