Dean said it best. I've been around auctions since I was a kid as well. The
terms of any auction should be clear in advance. If you don't take the
responsibility of educating yourself you're asking for trouble. The shame on me
thing.
This by no means gives the auctioneer the right to sock you.
You mixed something up, Martin, I guess. Wasn't that the arrival of the
masses in the 'Fliegerbraeu', Munich 2006?

Interesting stories. Thanks, Pamela.
Here is one from China.
One guy told me that he found a meteorite and wanted
to sell it to me. I answered him Ok, but required him
to make an identification first. The identification
needed a cutted slice weighted 30 grams or so, then

Hi List. Recently listed on Ebay a gorgeous 7.8 gm thick slice of the Miles

Hi Randall and the List,
This guy has spent a lot of time testing his rocks.
His samples look very terrestrial to me. I do not
recognize any flight markings.
He states that the escape velocity of Venus is less
than Earth, but he does not explain how an impactor
makes it to the surface
I have just finished uploading many new specimens to my site. I will be
