Some days ago a friend of mine show me a stange meteorite, it weights 1640g
and it measures about 15x8x8cm.
We cut a small corner but we cannot understand what it could be, so a couple
of days ago He cut it in half and send me a picture for ask me what I think
about.

is what looks like the 2 ft x 3 ft oak stand (possibly tipped over) that the
1,000 pound meteorite used to sit on.

This is a pretty pathetic story. It says that NASA
wants to preserve the invaluble Campo del Cielo
craters because the soil is very similar to the soil
of the Martian surface. We will never understand Mars
unless we preserve the craters at Campo del Cielo and
study them.
