Pete, an unquestionably exciting site. Remarkable photos for a ground based
14 inch scope and the text is quite detailed and insightful.
Thanks for the link.

Hi,
In the Illinois case, the (sharp) reporter for the
Bloomington Pantograph discovered that a big
woodchipper was operating in the neighborhood
(well, about 1000 feet away) at the time, verified
by the actual woodchippers, which makes it the

In my opinion which I have held from the beginning is
that the NJO is probably something that got stuck to
an aircraft wheel and dropped off when the landing
gear was retracted during flight. It looked pretty
scrapped up like something that had been run over
several times and is weathered,

Oh Yeah Holland rules with the Mbale fall.
Only to bad we still keep that, about 140 kilos, away from human eyes
because we still believe here that human eyes may damage the fusion crust
of meteorites.
Holland sucks (sorry) concerning meteorites.

Hey, don't forget *Marjalahti*, at least it landed in Finland.
For me Europe is everything west of Ural. Continents should be defined
by geology, not politics.
If you count only pallasites of the European Union, then you have to
drop Finmarken as Norway is not a EU member.

Of course, this wonderful pallasite fall of June 1902, Marjalahti (PAL-MG,

Jason and List,
Actually Tafassasset matches closely to Renazzo(CR2) w.r.t. oxygen isotopes.
See the paper TAFASSASSET: AN EQUILIBRIATED CR CHONDRITE

That said, subsequent papers do argue that Tafassasset is more like a
