There is another option.
The cubes I promised a month ago came back from the anodizer on Thursday.
The letters are being filled with enamel today. They will be ready for
shipping on Monday. I'll email pictures to those that are interested.
For those that missed the posts, they are 6061 T6
They are 10 each not $25 sorry. It is $25 for 3 of them.
Sorry,
Joe

I'm trying to remove a coating that's on one of my pallasite slices. I'm
not sure if it's epoxy, urethane, or what. It is impervious to acetone and
a brass brush doesn't touch it. In fact, it doesn't leave any marks at
all.
Any suggestions for non-mechanical removal would be greatly

Hi all -
While Darren has little interest in samples from the
new impactite layer, I think that there is going to be
a large market for them, including but not only for
classroom use.
I don't know if a small plastic box with a magnifier

Hi Ed and List,
Ed, first there has to be an impactite layer to
collect; so far the Younger Dryas people have talked
about it but I am still ignorant as to whether their
claims are fact, fish or fiction. Hopefully Paul will
post links to their evidence of real impactites. OR

The black impactite layer is pretty amazing - I never
expected it to be that dense or clearly obvious to the
naked eye - my guess is that it extends throughout
other sandstone formations in the region -

This may seem an irritating intrusion, but last year I
was intrigued by lunar and martian cutting dust, and
how many of you have bought, sold, own, or given as

Hello List,
These are the first 1cm Scale cubes made from Neodymium Magnets for the
purpose of taking photos of meteorites. These are grade N35 and are coated
with black nickel. I had these specially made to my specs. These are available
for $10 each. The reason I chose Grade N35 is so

Hello,
I just recently got an upgrade on my Plainview Collection Piece.

Shouldn't you consult a machinist or Mr. Hartman maybe? I don't think the list
