Space.com does a decent job of getting the facts straight. It is only one of
few forms of media I trust not to butcher a story or harp too much about
monetary value.

I wonder if this is not the same rock that was recently on ebay starting at
$2,500 bid.

Could it be the same supposed Moon rock? Not the one in the photo, but one
small chip that is still be investigated as is the seller.

Hi Elizabeth, List, I'm not sure what the screen looks like when you
sign up, but the issue that seems confusing is Paypal will auto-renew if
that option was either chosen, or not "deselected" when someone signed
up originally. There was probably an option on Paypal to auto-renew and
it may hav
Hi List...
Eric is doing everything to explain. He wrote me to post his return
comments to me, and it has already been done via other listees. No
worries...

I've just uploaded some chondrule photos I made back in 2007 with a cheap USB
microscope to facebook, for anyone interested in seeing them. The photos aren't
as good as you'd get from a pro scope, but are still pretty good-- and there are
some very nice chondrules in there.

I had no intent causing problems to you or anyone.
I did send you an email asking for a partial refund.
The LAST email I have received from you was March 23rd. Nothing
since as I keep them. The email earlier tonight that I copied to the

Dear List,
I just received an email from Eric Wichman. He's trying to post to the
list but his posts aren't going through.
He has asked that you read both of the following posts.
From 5/19/11:

Again... Please check your personal emails BEFORE sending email to the
Met-List which has nothing to do with the magazine.
If you didn't receive the update via email Go here:

Mike, instead of trying to cause problems by asking the MET-LIST, which
has NOTHING to do with my magazine. Why don't you try sending an email
to ME instead?
Also, you may want to CHECK YOUR EMAIL once in a while too because you
received an email with ALL the info you needed.
Regards,
Eric
Yes, I got that notfication as well... but I do remember when I was
submitting my payment that there was an option for 'auto-renewal' which I
did select...
Clear Skies!

Elizabeth and List-
I honestly do not remember any "auto-renewal" statement or options
when I signed up and paid for my subscription.
If I did remember- I truly would not have questioned this to the
list. Now I am wondering if there were variables in some of the
subscription/payment formats.
Glad I didn't enroll.

Hello:
If you happen to keep old emails check back to your PayPal confirmation. It
will have the following line.

It took me a while to cancel the automatic payment - at least I think that I
did. Will not know for

Hi List...
Yes, I too was alarmed at the email just received re: MHC mag. I've given
(and still do) Eric my confidence that I trust and hope that the
physical-print issues I paid for will someday be forthcoming, and that I'm
willing to wait, understanding that things didn't go as planned.

I don't like the sound of it. I paid for a full year and received 1

Ok I sent out a few letters to the officials at the museum, hopefully this will

complaints, BUT I figured it might be helpful, because the public can view
