Interesting story Ed, always sad to see the debilitating politics
behind raw scientific grit and enthusiasm with a can do attitide.
Who knows, that technology might still fill a niche for a poor man's

Last month, some may recall that I sent out photos depicting a suspicious

Congrats Count... This is why you can never say for sure from photos. You have
to hold it and look at it with a lens. I have found meteorites and posted them
and people said they were not.
I don't remember seeing it posted on the list before as well.

On Jul 30,
Congratulations Guido,
You beat the odds again and to think you do not gamble, at least on the slots
in Vegas.
As the radio talk show states, wait until you hear the rest of the story!
Its a good one.
Take Care and Happy Hunting,

John and Listees,
Your right about not being off a dry lake, but this meteorite was picked up off
the surface of an American desert hillside. Your also right about its
freshness. We do have some indicative evidence of when it fell and it wasn't
all that long ago.
Guido

Hi all,
Available is a spectacular 31 Lb Gibeon.
Gibeons have become more rarely seen at any price
and the price has been increasing substantially each and
every Tucson Show for the last several years.
Think of how good this Gibeon will look in your display.

Hi Count!
Congrats on your new cold find! I will echo others' comments
that this was the first I'd heard or seen of it. Did you
ever post this to the Met-List before, or just to a limited
subset?
In either case,
