I bought two specimens from Mike - one is an olivine crystal (how
beautiful) and a fragment. Both display almost opal-type translucency from
the olivine crystals. One crystal is just beneath the surface and is
mesmerizing.

Controllers have two way comms, commandability and control over Spirit.
They are working the problem to insure there is no carry over to Opportunity
and to get Spirit back to roving w/I 2 or so weeks. Things are looking very,
very good as opposed to last Wed.
