Hello Steve Dealers,
Speaking as someone who has been in retail over ten years and
seen it ALL, your best bet in the future is to have a clear and concise refund
policy that accompanies all your sales. State exactly what this policy is:
how long the customer has to return merchandise,
Has anyone ever speculated about the fate of silicate
inclusions/graphite nodules/etc.near the surface of iron meteorites, and
ablate as they enter the atmosphere? I seem to remember long ago hearing a
theory that this was one explanation ofthe origin of tektites. Ring
a bell with anyone?
Looks fishy to me too! Did you ask him if it attracts a magnet? ; )

I just heard the same story. The thing that made me laugh was when Siobhan
Cowton was asked whether she thought being hit by a meteorite was good luck
or bad luck, her answer was Good luck, because you get lots of publicity!

Hi Mark,
How about a word puzzle? For instance, you could give
someone a word or phrase and have them spell it out with meteorite names or
locations. For example, if the word was "meteorite" you might come up
with:
M - Murchison
E - Eagle Station
T - Taza
E - Etter
O - Ourique
R - Rumuruti

Hi Edward and List,
I took a course in college called Catastrophes and Mass

Hello list!
Well, the drama continues. I filed a Fraud Complaint

Not that I expect them to be selling any more shale for a
while, but just in case I thought I'd add this little "heads up"

The Alaskan meteorites Hope Creek and Aggie Creek were found in creeks of
those names by prospectors dredging for gold. Also I believe that the Cold
Bay pallasite (also Alaskan) was found on the beach. I believe that covers
all known Alaskan meteorites!
