Well Tom, at least you have your priorities right !!! Meteorites (as well as
stamps, coins, or any other collectible) are just THINGS...possessions, period.
They don't matter worth squat in the grand scheme of things. Ownership of a
THING can't even begin to compare to the job of raising
Beautiful clear night here in the Dallas area.but a bit on the cold side
(30F). I only spent a few minutes out watching around midnight, but saw

Not sure if it's reliable or not, but a quick web search seems to come up with lots of
hits for the Greensburg, KS pallasite as the top piece, at 1000 pounds.
Here's a link to the Big Well site where it's housed, but the link on their page to
the actual meteorite appears to be broken.

Probably Allen, Texas (H4) seeing that I live in the town right next to Allen.

the cubes. Seeing one of the scales in front of a whole specimen or slice, gives me a
better perspective of the true size of the specimen.
