Why do that, they are paired pieces, some of the Oman meteorites for example, 20 stones were found, they are all numbered, but not different meteorites. There are 38 seperate unpaired lunar meteorites. Hell, I have about 10,000 gao stones, so should they all be numbered and given new names?
