I have visited with my banker in the past concerning an escrow to sell a bunch of jade over seas and at Tucson. Escrow Accounts are quite easy to set up, bank holds the money until the item is either inspected and purchased, or the item is returned and the seller receives his specimen back. Seemingly a really good way to go if spending a bunch of money...........or buy from some one that Mike or the other dealers deal with in the meteorite world that is recommended.
