Check the railroad track on the map. Picture a freight train zooming along and suddenly one of the Peck and Hale container hold-downs fails and the broken pieces are hit with a couple hundred tons of force. It's not hard to see a chunk arcing a few hundred meters and crashing through the guy's window. It would be rusty. It would have lots of sharp and straight edges.
