There are several other very small meteorites...
Khatyrka, announced in June. Although it is listed as 0.1 g in the MB
database, if you read the text, you see that there are only 10
particles, all < 1 mm. These could well have an actual cumulative mass
of <10 mg.

The L5 Vilna (Feb 5, 1967 fall) Alberta was a witnessed fall (camera and
eye) was recovered as 2 fragments of 94mg and 48mg recovered by
searchers on snow. The Revelstoke was almost mud (less than 1 gram) on snow.

Smallest find: Yamato 8333 10mg provided there are no pairings
Smallest TKW for a witnessed fall: Revelstoke ~1 gram
Smallest completely crusted individual from a witnessed fall
Here is what I have been able to summarize:
Smallest find: Yamato 8333 10mg provided there are no pairings
Smallest TKW for a witnessed fall: Revelstoke ~1 gram
Smallest completely crusted individual from a witnessed fall: Bensour ~48mg

Revelstoke had a recovered mass of about 1 g. Yamato 8333 is listed
as being 10 mg, which is only 1% as massive as Revelstoke.

Hello,
This question came up on another forum.
What is the smallest meteorite known? And I mean: still recognizable
(classifiable) as a meteorite.
And no, I am not talking about the highly questionable micrometeorites
supposedly found in gutters.
I am sure one of you will know the answer!!
