Anyone have any information about this? I would post a real link, but lately
anything that has HTML in it for the List seems to go straight to vapor.

I've just added a new page to my collection pages which displays the falls

Nothing has been found as far as I know. I heard that two persons spent
a week last summer looking for the meteorite but found nothing and I'm
not surprised.
The area is covered with low shrubs and wetlands and in the summer it is
a mosquito infested hell. You would have to walk right over a

Hi folks,
I have some small lots on sale, all still at very affordable prices.
Most are low/very low TKW NWAs, including a very nice NWA 091 L6 showing
great vesiculation, and a really nice NWA 3154 H3.9 with lovely chondrules.

Thanks Paul and Geoff!
I was quite surprised to win. The Zeiss micrograph contest has some fairly
stiff competition from people with access to the best equipment in the world.
It feels good to hold my own with 40 year old eBay equipment.

Hi Tom,
I must admit, I am not into thin sections (yet) but I recognize art when I
see it and science as well. You manage to combine both.
Congratulations!
And thank-you Jim for loaning the NWA 482 thin section!

Dear List,

I thought Toluca was classified as a medium octahedrite?
I checked some web sites and now it's classified and a special type of
course octahedrite.
Why did they reclassify it?
They change classifications all the time.
Remember Morasko IAB, then IIICD and now again IAB-Mg

I would also like to congratulate Tom. Tom was kind enough to take some
photographs for me last spring. The man truely has an eye.
The great thing about thin section collecting is that you can spend hours
looking at a $75 slide. Tom's photos show why.

I started to process my 3.4kg Toluca
About 1/3 of it will be used to make my sphere rough but I should have about
1500 grams of slices and end cuts
I made 2 cuts today which produced a 54 gram end cut and a 51 gram slice

Hello Everyone,
I am proud to annouce I now have the 2007 Brenham Meteorite Coin in stock.
Those that preordered the coin will get an e-mail shortly. As this coin was
my suggestion, and since I was able to use a Kansas meteorite, this one is
my favorite in the series.
