Hi Elizabeth, Bur-Abor is not considered an “unwitnessed fall” by anyone as no such designation exists. The features of this meteorite are consistent with a residency on Earth of at least decades — if not centuries...or far more; Bur-Abor is an outstanding, highly weathered meteorite.

This is odd, it totally  contradict what the Met.Bulletin says about that meteorite: About 50 fragments totaling 280–300 kg, the largest weighing >250 kg, were found by a family after they heard an explosion and saw a cloud of dust.  Nearby banana trees were broken, and some contained embedded
