Dear Meteorite List:
I just joined this list a couple of days ago and am thrilled to be a

my truest love of all: meteorites.

Dos Cabezas in spanish is two heads . The Dos Cabezas mountains are just
east of Wilcox Arizona . They have a curios double knob on thier highest
peak hence the name . I thought that that would be an apropriate name for

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know why I can't get into the IMCA page?

Hi Anita, and welcome to the List! With new meteorites from Mars being found, and rovers exploring the red planet too, you've certainly chosen a VERY exciting time to join-up - good to have you with us :-)

Dear listies,
what do you think about meteorite slices showing still the marks of

Alas, times of mirror-finished slices sold by dealers like David New

I fully agree with you. Almost all meteorites can be polished and it is a
real work, much more than slicing.
Polishing a large slice is not so easy. And the result is obviously what is
expected by any customer.
