I am wondering how a person can learn to identify
mineral content of rocks?
I am always seeing olivine 49.2%, ect. and so forth.
Are there any books I could buy or check out at my
library that would teach me to do this that you all
might recommend personally.
I am sure the one rock I have is
Hi everyone, I have added a new Eucrite to my website, NWA 1978. It has been
at the UofA for the last 2 and a half years, and I finally got the
classification for it this week. It is a polymict Eucrite breccia, and it
looks just like DaG 400, the Lunar meteorite. We thought it was Lunar when

I recently purchased Dhofar 851 from Steve in an ebay auction. Anyone got
data on this meteorite - Steve doesn't seem to have more than the TKW :-),
at least he isn't disclosing more in his auction.
Help would be appreciated.

You owe us a substantial amount of money from your bait-and-switch scams.
Become a credible dealer, pay up and we might gain a little bit of respect
for you. Calling the police and reporting a fake livestock smuggling
operation to have Team LunarRock jailed was a poor stunt. It

Hi Bernd and all,
Your email as always is very appropriate! I think it should be a wake up call. A
drowning victim only comes up three times before going down for good.
To speak without thinking is to shoot without aiming.
I can't think of a single quote I disagree with. All my best to all.
Hi List,
I wanted to report on the latest successful expedition with a group of
meteorite hunters including List members who made it fun. Instead, I return
home to garbage posted to the List about the status of NWA 1817 which had
been addressed in the past. I considered this a personal attack
Sorry if this has already been posted, I don't remember seeing it.
