G'day Jeff and List
Well being out working at 03:00 it was cloudy+++ and lots of
thunder / lightning I find it hard to believe it was just a lightning
strike.
Being a witness to the noise, it started north of where I was, at
Sydenham N/W of Melbourne travelled overhead and finnished
as a loud

Very nice piece.
I can tell you all that the Moroccans here this year have almost nothing!
A few chondrites, and virtually nothing else.
Seems the NWA is really drying up, unless you think they just didnt want to
sell any meteorites this year.

Hello to the List,
first of all, thanks a lot to all those who gave me
very interesting information about fuel consumption of
SUV in the USA.
I'm asking to the List some information about a
meteorite fall in 1936 in New Caledonia (Pacific)
called Nassirah. I'm searching for detailed
information
I have a number of auctions closing this evening including an oriented allende

Hi Eric and All,
Your interesting S-A specimens you call 'Confused' is similar to one I
highlighted in one of my Accretion Desk articles a while back.
The Taza specimen I nicknamed a Duck's Foot has a similar double
orientation. I spoke to either Jim Tobin or Paul Harris about it back
then,

Hello List,
I decided to try out the ebay thing, I have a great 23+ gram, cut and polished
slice. It also comes with a CD that has micro pic's of the wonderful
characteristcs found inside! You should look even if not interested in bidding.
There is less than 4 hours to go!
Hello List,
I have a new meteorite that I received in shipment from Morocco last week.
It is a beautiful meteorite with a total known weight of 87 Grams before
cutting. It is loaded with chondrules, possibly carbonaceous. I have full
slices available for sale here:
Bob,
Cool looking chondrite. I was curious what your thoughts were on why this
meteorite might be a carbonaceous type..(CK ?). It looks like a very nice L3.8
to 4 with a dark gray matix...that could be from shock. But that is just a
casual guess. Are you getting is classified?
Good luck
The clasts in question are not basaltic. They're alkaline and subalkaline
igneous rocks. That's why the authors are speculating about Mars'
satellites. See their article:
