incredible funny Ensisheim show.
I want to thanks ZELIMIR for the organization and all the kind persons I met
at show. This was an awesome week-end very very hard to forget.
A special thanks goes to John Kashuba, he

Hello List,
I'm preparing a serie of meteorite shows for schools,
libraries, ... during the following months. I will
present many of my meteorites but I would like to tell
about the Tunguska explosion. I'm searching for a
slice of a tree to show the anomalous part of it due
to the explosion.

Hi Pierre-Marie,
Your mail possibly comes one day too late. You should ask Giorgio Tomelleri.
He was here in...Ensisheim, this past week-end, almost next to your table!
He currently had (has ?) such wood sections for sale (but I don't remember
having seen some yesterday).
You could inquire
I have sold all my Tunguska sections time ago, a part the 3
biggest pieces I have in collection never I sold, Tomelleri
have a piece, depend how much he ask seen is many time he
have.

Maybe in the near future they will find some more.
But for now that is officially all of it.

Any info on the circumstances of finding those fragments? Seems amazing, to me,
to be able to find 24g divided
it is type Bassikouno only 1.5 kg. tkw and now is arrive to
over 80 kg.?

As far as I know he simply went out and asked the people what they saw
and/or heard. He did that for at least one week.
Afterwards he started searching for pieces based on the witness
informations. Seems very amazing to me as well since nobody did actually see
those fragments land.
What´s your (continuous) problem, what do you mean with this? Some
friendly people showed up in Ensisheim last weekend, yes also some meteorite
friends from your beautiful country - you did not show up
as far as I know, or did you? (If so, beg my pardon). Your comments
are usually on the

weight (!!), color, special remarks, dates of arrival and departure should

On consulting my very short notes resulting upon an as short discussion (a
couple of minutes) with Mirko/Thomas yesterday in Ensisheim, the 5
fragments were found between June 3 and 9, thus less than one week before
Ensisheim started.
I guess the search will continue in the near future, as it

For the new fall, I commented not because of the low TKW but the fact that those
tiny pieces were found at all. It
Amazing was an in situ photo Thomas Grau showed, two tiny blobs on the
ground, one was an olive, one was a meteorite...
