Pleasant article. Very little hype of the sort we are often inundated with. The only thing that I found disappointing was the lack of information pertaining to the rock/meteorite itself. Kinda looks like a pallasite but that's just a silly guess, I guess ; since it's only based on a glance.

Along the same thought process Tommy,   I have often wondered just how much mass worth of extraterrestrial matter there has been added to the Earth's overall mass?  Add up all those meteorites under the top soil of farms, all the meteorites from the Ordovician bombardment of L-chondrites, etc.
