The posted orbit for the Russian meteor doesn't resemble in any way 2012
DA14. There is a difference of 7 degrees in the
inclination alone - about 4 degrees for the meteor and 2012 DA's
inclination is 11.6 degrees.
Both the Node and Arg Peri are also different.

If the object was a Carbonaceous type or a small comet there may not be
much to find of anything. Tagish Lake fell on the ice
but if it had fallen through what would be left to find?

Be on the lookout for a stolen Allende stone weighing 636 grams.
Reported missing from University of Alberta Collection. Has a label
reading A49-6369. Contact either myself or Dr. Chris Herd (University of
Alberta). A case file has been opened the by Edmonton Police.

The L5 Vilna (Feb 5, 1967 fall) Alberta was a witnessed fall (camera and
eye) was recovered as 2 fragments of 94mg and 48mg recovered by
searchers on snow. The Revelstoke was almost mud (less than 1 gram) on snow.

There was a story going around the turn of the last century that some
