I would like to build mico 2312 with Visual Studio 2005 in debug mode. Therfore
I commented out the line RELEASE_BUILD in the makefileconfig and used the nmake
/f Makefile.win32 command to build the debug mico library. When I link my
application with the mico2312.dll the application

Could you please give version 2.3.12 created for the msvc8 a try ?
A lot of issues have been adapted for this compiler.
Search in the list archive for the mail with instructions how to get the
sources.
