when rsync runs with the recommended commands does
it chnage the permissions on all the files when it is run. there are quite a few
that are having the owner set to root. Anyone have any clue why that might
be?
i am using the following command
rsync -rtlzv --delete
Mmmm... that problem come because you run rsync command as root.
chown all the file and the problem solve.

mirror ran into a config error at 11:00pm CDT OCT 9, 2003. WHich renders the
mirror offline till 11:30 pm while the configuration is fixed.Ill email when it

If anyone has been wondering about my mirror. it
has been freezing up all day today i think i have resolved the problem. Think it
might have been a bad memeory stick i bought second hand. I just updated
the mirror a few min ago so i think im up and running again.

THE MIRROR apache.roweboat.net is offline, because of unknow system
problems.
The system runs for about a day then freezes up and stops.
hopefullyy this can be resolved in about 30 min
