Status of Bluetooth support?

I know Bluetooth support was pulled, but I was wondering if there was any new information about it being rekindled in some fashion. My primary interest is the bluetooth audio side. If there is or isn't I would be interested in helping to make it happen. Not sure I am the best person to code it,
