Well, after consulting with Autrijus Tang (the author of ExtUtils::AutoInstall
among else) I was suggested to run the following in the shell beforehand:
$ export PERL_EXTUTILS_AUTOINSTALL=--default
This caused Ovid [1] to compile XML::Feed and all of its dependencies
perfectly.

I'd like to install the XML::Feed on my system. (Mandriva Linux 2006 Beta-2)
Only problem is that I want it and all of its dependencies packaged as RPMs.
I'm aware of three such solutions for automatically preparing RPMs out of
CPAN packages:
