I found out from an MS source that several of the controls are
just wrapers around the old com controls. Only a few controls have
been redone to 100% .Net.
Combobox, tab control, listbox,listview and even tool bar are just
a few of the hacks.

You have to actually catch the message in windproc.

I'm guessing this is the same thing for the OnControlCreated?
