I found out from an MS source that several of the controls are
just wrapers around the old com controls. Only a few controls have
been redone to 100% .Net.
Combobox, tab control, listbox,listview and even tool bar are just
a few of the hacks.

Anyone ever noticed that you can't override the ComboBox.OnPaint method successfully?
You have to actually catch the message in windproc.
I'm guessing this is the same thing for the OnControlCreated?
