Wow, it's good to read al this info abour mr. Loce.
We traded once with him and at the time his explanations seemed plausible,
but after reading all these horror stories we will definately stay away from
him.
We did not trade inserts with him, but a few one sheets, French posters, and

Great post, Phil. And I just enjoyed reading Ron's qualified and revised
opinion. Of course it's easy for some of us -- to come off holier than thou,
as if our own s*** doesn't stink. Some of us have had our share of issues and
problems and run-ins with the hobby over the years. I myself
Hi Bruce,
As always great info.
Can you give us some titles of the suspicious sets you received from Europe?
Since I'm from Europe I'm very curious to find out.
Another disturbing trend is that some companies are producing promo/commercial
lobby cards.
A recent example is Dark Knight. There's an

This website was mentioned previously on group but I thought I'd remind people
about it again as it's obviously something that can be of some help in these
times of uncertainty and downright chicanery.

I'm glad we did not trade anything special with this guy. Based on our one time
experience we did have our doubts, but he sounded reasonable.
We also asked him about the NSS statement in almost all auctions and this was
his reply:

Our plan is to combine all the scattered info and not only limit it to US
posters but also foreign posters and lobby card sets.

i have never really understood MILKY WHITE, but i knew it is bad, synonymous

about this subject. I was tempted to ask him to put

Hello everyone.
Just thought I'd chime in.
First of all.its MINTY WHITE.not milky white.
We blocked loce and the other well known fake sellers (toler-rokmodataol,

I can only hope that others here have done
Michael, I'm curious, were you not around when all the numerous discussions and
posts took place on MOPO, about the MINTY WHITES, or are you just looking for a
recap in a form of a 50 words or less?

Good question Zeev.
Every so now and then lobby cards are created as promotional material for the
press or to be sold as a premium with a DVD or something like that.
I actually did not invent this term, but noticed that the folks who produce
and/or sell these sets use this term. These sets are
With just 12 hours to go, we still have 319 complete lobby card sets and

number of really nice ones! For those *REALLY* looking for deals, there are
