vert confusing, to say the least. the 2 lines that strike me are:
I am selling my right, title, and interest in this poster that I
purchased through Heritage Signature Auction #660, Lot #28337. --
it sounds like the seller isnt selling the card. per se --just his
rights, title and
Great selection Bruce.
However, you forgot to use your nipple tape on the I LOVE TROUBLE 1 sht.
And now, I'm outraged.

I do not really understand it, myself. I know that an ad appeared in the April
MCW saying the card had been stolen. The ad was placed by the owner who is the
same person with this listing on eBay.

it appears he is just using ebay as an advertising tool to get the word out
to as many people as possible that it was stolen.
pretty smart if you ask me. Its costing him mere pennies to advertise to
every movie poster collector in the world.

I think the idea is that you give the seller $33,460.00 and if the card ever
turns up he'll post it straight onto you. Think of it as layaway. Only more
so.
I'm offering a similar arrangement on a Metropolis 1-sheet. And I'll match
that price. Please form an orderly queue.

one does NOT ask for $33K, when using ebay as a mere advertising
tool. the fact that he goes on to describe the card, etc, offers
free shipping, all seems very odd.
it's as though he is selling the right to ownership for 33K.
seems a bit off, thats for sure.

It's NOT pretty smart, if you ask me because no one can tell exactly
what he's doing. We're all guessing at his motive. In order to get the
message out, you have to be very clear about what the message is. FRANC

AOL EmailI wonder if he is just hoping that someone else might have a better
chance of being able to track down the card. Perhaps he thinks that if he
offers someone else the rights to the card that they might be preprared to do
the detective work. Debt collectors work on a similar principle.
