I bought a Battle of the Bulge Cinerama roadshow poster on eBay -

Are there any places in Connecticut that can remove the tape covering the
CINERAMA text on the poster? About what would be the cost
I have quite a few lobby cards that have yellowed tape marks. I have read on
this venue previously that using a product called Bestine will help remove
them if used very carefully. Bestine is a brand name, and they make everything
from rubber cement to rubber cement thinner to paint thinner.
Use Bestine, which is kind of like lighter fluid, and must be handled
equally carefully! Buy it in any art supply store, or on the Internet. Spend
some time learning how best to use it on cheap items before graduating to
better ones.

Bestine is totally flamable in liquid form
however.. it works very well and after it dries it becomes inert

the citrus based solvents are not based on
citrus, but are additives to give it a better smell. I concur about
not using them, as they seem to stain white paper at times.
Naptha is, in my 40 years of fiddling with paper, the best all-around one
to use.
HOWEVER, I cannot stress enough that it

Tape was covering the CINERAMA logo on a "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" poster I just bought. I applied Un-Du and then used the supplied scrapper and it just made it worse. I'll need to have a poster restorer fix it.
